    SuperSibs! Awards Scholarships to High School Seniors
    In April of 2012, SuperSibs!, a non-profit organization whose mission is to honor, support and recognize the brothers and sisters of children with cancer, will award ten (10) $1,000 SuperSibs! Scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
    SuperSibs! provides resources and coping tools to children and teens whose sibling has cancer. As part of this support, SuperSibs! will award scholarships to students who illustrate their ability to take this difficult life experience and turn it into a positive, strength-building experience, to create good in their own lives and the lives of others.
    To qualify, applicants must be a sibling of a child who has (or has had) cancer, live in the United States, be a graduating high school senior and must be attending an accredited educational institution in Fall 2012.
    Completed applications must be postmarked by January 27, 2012 and received by February 6, 2012. Scholarship recipients will be notified by April 15, 2012.
    To apply for the SuperSibs! scholarship, complete the application form and submit all required materials by the deadline. Incomplete or late packages cannot be considered. Application materials should be mailed to:

    Applications that meet the eligibility and deadline requirements will be reviewed by an external independent scholarship committee. This committee will be solely responsible for choosing the recipients. Scholarship recipients are required to provide progress updates to SuperSibs! two times during their first year – December and June. Additional and ongoing communication keeping us informed on progress and activities will be greatly appreciated, but not required.
    SuperSibs! is honored to be able to help siblings feel valued, validated, heard and supported as recipients of the SuperSibs! Scholarship.
