My name is Lino Finazzi. I live near Milan in Italy and I am married and I have a married daughter who is 32 years old.
In 1992, following a spinal surgery lasted 6 hours, I was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma. Following the definition of Ewing’s Sarcoma I did 25 rounds of radiation and four cycles of chemotherapy.
Before long I started my life as before, focusing on: family, work and sports.
In 2005, after 13 years, I had a recurrence of Ewing’s Sarcoma, in the right lung. I underwent another surgery and another 6 cycles of chemotherapy.
I keep my constant monitoring and live my personal life. Just 10 months after the second surgery I started with my favorite sport, cycling.
My family helped me a lot in pursuing my life in complete peace and happiness.The message, I bring to those who unfortunately have to live an adventure like mine is to believe and still believe in a positive way that we are stronger than the disease and with the help of medicine you can win! You win with medicine, with the strength in body and mind.
