While it is rare, pediatric cancer is the second leading cause of death in children according to the American Cancer Society. More than 12,000 children nationwide will be diagnosed with cancer this year, but the prognosis for these youngsters is not as poor as it used to be. The five-year survival rate for children with cancer is 83 percent, which is up from 58 percent in the mid 1970s.
Please join Dani’s Foundation and lend your support to our efforts to End Pediatric Sarcoma during September and throughout the year. Too many children, young adults and scientific researchers are counting on our successes and your support is the key to beating these horrific forms of cancer!
